About Virginia

Virginia is the oldest daughter of Mark and Sara Cowperthwaite. She has two sisters and four brothers. Virginia is preparing for womanhood in many ways such as working alongside her mother, studying the Word of God, and being discipled in the faith by her mother and father and other seasoned Christians who can help build her up in the faith as part of a local church.  She has been educated at home her entire life and is a great help to her mother with her younger siblings.

Virginia's family has been active in evangelism for most of her life, including 4 years in full time ministry traveling across the United States working with churches, where her father organized Gospel efforts, equipping Christians to tell others the true Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the whole family joined in to share the Gospel door-to-door, in open air evangelism, kids clubs, and more.

Virginia enjoys traveling and recently got to visit the Creation Museum in Kentucky. She has lived in Key West, Florida, El Cajon, California, Richmond, Kentucky, and stayed in many locations across the country in the camper trailer her family called home for over 3 years.

Virginia has a lot of interests including cooking, sewing, writing, creation science, presuppositional apologetics, and much more. Virginia made a profession of faith at a young age, and after talking about baptism with her Daddy, decided that she wanted to obey the command of Jesus to all His disciples to be baptized when she was 9 years old. The intervening years have shown growth in the faith and spiritual gifts that Virginia exercises as she serves her family and friends and reaches out to those who do not confess Jesus as Lord.

Growing up in a family which engages regularly in evangelism has given Virginia a lot of insight into the human condition from the people she meets. She has been able to share the Gospel with people of many religious backgrounds, moms at the playground, clerks at the grocery store, unsaved family members, and more. She is fearless when it comes to evangelism.

One of Virginia's passions is the often disregarded work of pleading for the lives of the unborn outside an abortion mill, where she wrote a Gospel tract to give to mothers and knits hats for infants. Virginia has learned from her parents the value of a human soul, and has learned how to proclaim and defend her faith from many men of God who her family has worked alongside in the proclamation of the Gospel. She also loves to learn about the Bible from sermons and debates from Paul WasherVoddie Baucham, Sye Ten Bruggencate, Jason Lisle, Robert Gray, Mike Stockwell, Jimmy Hamilton, and James White.

Her passion for God and the value of human life are exercised with compassion, mercy, grace, and have been an encouragement to other young people. Virginia has met other Christians from many walks of life who have been a blessing to her as well. Some have challenged her to be more faithful in prayer, others to be concerned with the persecution of Christians in lands where Christianity is forbidden.
We pray that this blog is an encouragement to young ladies that even a child who has been born again can be an effective witness as Virginia shares her perspective of current events, outreaches she is involved with, and prayer requests. You are never too young to become a disciple of Jesus Christ, and no matter how long you walk with the Lord, you should continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. We pray that you are blessed, encouraged, and challenged as Virginia shares those things she learns as she walks with the Lord by faith and proclaims His fame wherever she goes. Jesus Christ is King, and He alone is worthy of our praise, our worship, our love, our very lives.

To God alone be all glory, honor, and praise!
