Fellowship Conference, Open Air Preaching, Abortion outreach saves lives!

Hi everyone.
This week was the probably our best day at the murder mill so far. A man came up to one of the women in our group and said  "I am a Buddhist. I want to follow Jesus." When asked what he knew about Jesus, he answered. "I know He died on the cross for my sins and He forgives me. I do not want to follow Buddha anymore." Praise the LORD for this confession of faith!

This week we were joined by a lady who we had met on the 4th of July. She had a great time being out there, hearing the proclamation of the Gospel while we plead with women to let their babies live. Hopefully she will be able to come out with us more often. It seems like God gave us both good and bad encounters on the same day. We had one lady say "I like to murder my babies." Someone said that Mommy should be arrested for child abuse because she was letting my siblings look at the pictures on our signs. Just so everyone knows this man was not talking about graphic abortion pictures. He was talking about the pictures of babies who were either still in the womb or were born early. But God has showed us that it worth it to go out to the murder mill to bring the gospel to the men and women of Portland. God is working through our group to save the lives of these people.

This week 4 men got to preach. Daddy started off the day by preaching through Romans 1. Then Brian preached through the story of Jesus and Barabbas before Pontius Pilot. Wesley then preached from the book of Proverbs. Andrew finished off by preaching through Lamentations 2.

Next Friday is the fellowship conference in Portland. We will be out on the street from 8 to 9 in the morning. We will have multiple street preachers attending the conference. Daddy thinks all the street preachers should pick a street corner and start preaching since we will only have 1 hour to work with.

Among the men attending the conference is Mike Stockwell. Please be praying for brother Stockwell as he travels home from England.

One of our friends from the abortion mill named Andrew challenged me to memorize 3 chapters of the book of Psalms before the end of August. He suggested memorizing Psalms 2, 22, and 110. I have memorized chapter 2 so far. I am now working on chapter 22.

For prayer requests I would like to ask for prayers for officer Keller who is a police officer in  Portland. We have been able to see him 5 times now and I would appreciate it if you would be praying for his salvation. He is one of the officers who stands outside to the abortion mill to make sure we do not do anything wrong. Sadly he does not stop the slaughter of the babies who are being murdered by their own mothers.

I would also like to ask for continued prayers for the Him family from Cambodia. They are looking for a house to rent in Michigan since their oldest sons Chandara and Darit will be attending a mission aviation school near there. While the Hims are used to living in a small house, People here in the states will not rent them a 3 bedroom house since there are 11 people. Please pray that God will provide a house for them.

With love in LORD.
Virginia.
