End of the challenge, We Love Babies!

Hi everyone,
I realized that I did not write about our time at the abortion mill last week. There is one guy who owns a guitar shop next door to the abortion mill, and let's just say he is not so happy with us being out there. Last week he came up and called Daddy "stupid" and said "You don't know what you are talking about" when Daddy told him he was reading the Bible. He said "You're stupid because you can read" Daddy then asked him what the definition of stupid was, his answer "you". Persecution often follows the preaching of the Gospel, and is not always logical.

Later the same day "M" poured mop water on the ground in front of his building which then rolled down the sidewalk towards my friend's children who were sitting on a blanket on the public sidewalk in front of his shop. While we do not know what the policeman said, he did go talk to him afterwards. Please pray that God will save him from his sins and draw him to Himself.

This week I decided to write a tract to give to the people going for an abortion. Today I was able to give away one tract to a lady who walked in, While I do not know if she read it or not, at least she had it and may have seen the big bold words across the top of the tract that said "WE LOVE YOU AND YOUR BABY". At least now she has our email and knows where to go for help. Please pray that she decided to save the life of her baby.

Yesterday there were about 19 people besides our family out on the sidewalk some people were holding signs, some were passing out tracts. My friend Andrew was preaching, and others were there talking to people who were willing to listen.

Tomorrow our family is planning to go out to hold signs on the street. If anyone in our area wants to come join us, we will at the bottom of the hill in front of the Knox Museum in Thomaston around 1: 30pm tomorrow.

I am excited to hear the sermon at church tomorrow as our pastor should be preaching through the first part of 1 Corinthians 11 and I am interested to see what he says about it. Me, my Mom and my younger sister all wear head coverings but we are the only women in our church that wear them. I will try to write a post about why we wear them later.

So the last part of the challenge is this: Try to do something that God is calling you to do, no matter the cost. Do not fear man and what he may do to you. God has not given us as Christians a spirit of fear but a spirit of peace. We do not need to fear man who can destroy our flesh, but God who can destroy both flesh and spirit. Obey God no matter what man will do to you.

For prayer requests: Please pray for our pastor as he will be preaching tomorrow. Pray that he will speak what God wants him speak and also pray that he will stick to what  the Bible says, even if that is opposed to what a lot of Biblical commentators say. Please pray also for your family of Christians worldwide as they labor to bring the gospel to people all around the world. Please pray that God will give them the strength to endure whatever persecution they may face.

With love in the LORD,
          Virginia
